The Management Accountant role: Reporting to the EU Financial Director, the Management Accountant will be responsible for management accounting and reporting for a subset of entities within the business. Key duties for the Management Accountant position include: Producing monthly management accounts — including P&L with accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements. Monitoring and supporting the cash management team with daily financial operations. Reviewing intercompany transactions and ensuring related party positions reconcile correctly. Processing payroll entries for assigned countries. Maintaining accounting records and ensuring strong financial controls are followed by AR, AP, and Sales teams. Liaising with local tax and accounting specialists across Europe, ensuring compliance with local requirements. Supporting local accountants with VAT returns, annual filings, and audits. Management Accountant - Key Skills & Experience: To succeed in this role, you’ll be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of your work and meeting tight deadlines. Key skills and experience include: Minimum 5 years’ relevant accounting experience. Proven ability to produce accurate, timely management reports. Familiarity with EU VAT and foreign currency transactions. Experience in intercompany and multi-entity organisations. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
