Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a DataWarehouse Quality Assurance Engineer, on behalf of a well known company in the insurance industry.
Job Role
The Data Warehouse Quality Assurance Engineer (QE) ensures that all data-related solutions meet quality standards before deployment. This role focuses on validating data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within the data warehouse environment.
The role is responsible for:
* Requirements Analysis:
* Understand business and technical requirements to design effective test strategies.
* Test Planning & Execution:
* Create detailed test scenarios and scripts for ETL processes, data transformations, and reporting layers.
* Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.
* Automation & Regression:
* Build automated test packs for regression testing of data pipelines.
* Implement tools for continuous testing in CI/CD workflows.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure proper coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
* Support Business UAT and liaise with stakeholders for sign-off.
* Defect Management:
* Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
Requirements for this position:
* Previous experience in data-focused QA engineer roles within London Market insurance (including Lloyds of London)
* Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data pipelines.
* Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
