Operational Compliance Controller About Us: Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Operational Compliance Controller to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of compliance across a dynamic logistics operation, working closely with operational leaders to ensure we meet and exceed regulatory standards. Job description: You'll play a key role in shaping how we manage compliance, using data, insight, and collaboration to drive improvements and support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation compliance policies and procedures that align with current regulations and business needs. Compile and distribute key performance indicators (KPIs) to operational teams, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Analyse compliance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide hands-on support to Transport Managers and compliance leads across the group. Lead and facilitate compliance meetings, ensuring clear communication and follow-up on actions. Monitor and manage fines, penalties, and charges, including cost allocation and reporting. Investigate Assist in serious incidents investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Oversee internal audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Deliver training sessions and develop materials to promote compliance awareness. Identify compliance risks and contribute to mitigation strategies. Experience: Proven experience in compliance or operational roles within logistics or transport. Transport Manager CPC qualification (essential). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
