General Foreman – Clean Water Treatment Works (Near Perth)
PAYE Only | Long‑Term Contract
We’re recruiting an experienced General Foreman to join a major clean water treatment works project near Perth. This role sits within the site leadership team, overseeing earthworks, building works and pipeline installation — with a particular focus on coordinating excavation squads and ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
This position requires someone who has come up through the tools, with a solid background in heavy civil engineering, including deep drainage, excavation works and managing multiple squads on busy sites. You’ll be the person who knows how the job should be built because you’ve done it yourself — and can now lead teams with confidence, clarity and authority.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising and allocating excavation and civils squads
Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with project requirements
Overseeing earthworks, drainage, pipeline installation and associated civils activities
Coordinating daily tasks, resolving issues and keeping work fronts moving
Maintaining strong communication with engineers, site management and subcontractors
Upholding quality, safety and productivity standards across all work areas
Requirements
EUSR Water Hygiene
EUSR DOMS
EUSR 1 & 2
Proven experience as a General Foreman on civils or water projects
Strong background in heavy civils, ideally including deep drainage
Experience putting excavation squads to work and supervising multiple teams
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
