About the Role
Waterside is an award-winning vibrant destination for performance, culture and events.
Located on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal in the heart of Sale town centre, the venue opened in 2004 and houses live theatre and event spaces, galleries, bar & coffee house and workshop studios, presenting work of national significance and an important venue in the Greater Manchester cultural landscape. Annually Waterside stages around 250 professional productions, hosts over 700 participatory events and classes and welcomes over 115,000 visitors.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual with excellent people skills for the role of Business Support Officer.
The successful applicant will provide administrative and finance support to the Venue Manager and departmental management team for Waterside and our creative development project, Creative Industries Trafford.
You should be a meticulous record-keeper and have a knowledge of robust financial procedures.
You should be familiar with reporting tools within ticketing and CRM systems
Flexibility will be required to meet service needs and may include evening, weekend work and unsocial hours.
