About The Role
Part-time contract – 8 hours per week, 09:00 to 17:00 with overtime available including overnight support and weekends.
Location: Blackburn, Aberdeenshire.
Salary: £13.45 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Support Maureen with daily personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
- Assist with maintaining Maureen’s social networks and community participation, such as attending knitting or dancing group, shops, walks, and other activities.
- Provide support 7 days a week, from 09:00 to 17:00 and overnight with staff sleeping over.
- Ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the individual are met.
- Work collaboratively with the broader team of Personal Assistants.
Qualifications & Experience
No prior care experience is required. Applicants should have the values, dedication and desire to support individuals with learning disabilities and other support needs. Transferable skills from previous employment or volunteering are valued.
Required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.
