Responsibilities

6. Group Accounting and Consolidation
7. Oversee accounting and financial reporting for UK and overseas entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations and group policies.
8. Lead group consolidation and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
9. Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
10. Asset Management
11. Support strategic management and optimization of the asset portfolio.
12. Assist in asset acquisition and disposal decisions through profitability analysis.
13. Financial Budgeting and Reporting
14. Develop and manage annual budgets across the group.
15. Lead financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
16. Risk, Compliance & Treasury
17. Manage financial risks, including FX, commodity exposure, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
18. Support pricing strategies and credit reviews for commercial and chartering teams.
19. Monitor market trends, hedging activities, and oversee treasury operations.
20. Ensure compliance with governance, tax, and financial regulations.
21. Trade Finance & Trading
22. Foster trade finance relationships and raise funds.
23. Manage trade finance instruments, transaction financing, cash flow, and compliance.
24. Finance Staff Leadership and Development
25. Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams.
26. Promote collaboration and oversee recruitment and training.
27. Taxation and Corporate Structure
28. Oversee tax planning and compliance across jurisdictions.
29. Coordinate with legal and advisory teams to maintain efficient corporate structures.
30. Compliance and ISO
31. Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
32. Support ISO compliance efforts in coordination with internal teams.
33. Pension and Staff Benefits
