Your new company: This is a leading UK property consultancy, covering a multitude of property services in commercial, rural, infrastructure, residential, planning, and development. With over 30 offices across the UK, this company offers localised support and insight. As the new Land Agent, based in their Cambridge office and reporting to the Rural Partner, you'll have the opportunity to join a national organisation.
Your new role: As the Land Agent, you will assist the Rural Partners with managing diverse rural and private estates across East Anglia, including business development and identifying new opportunities. Main tasks include:
* Estate Management: Manage day-to-day estate operations.
* General Management: Oversee agricultural and residential tenancies, some commercial leases, sporting rights, and forestry matters.
* Maintenance Planning: Identify needs and manage maintenance programs.
* Diversification Strategies: Develop ideas, including renewable energy opportunities.
* Digital Planning: Prepare and implement digital estate records.
* Process Optimisation: Develop efficient systems leveraging IT resources.
* Sales Development: Collaborate to find new sales prospects.
What you'll need to succeed: You should be passionate, enthusiastic, and interested in strategic business and people management. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively is essential. Experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
Other requirements include:
* RICS qualification (essential)
* Post-qualification experience
* Experience in Rural valuations (desirable)
* CAAV qualification (desirable)
* Excellent negotiation and people skills
* Ability to meet deadlines
What you'll get in return: Salary ranges from £30,000 to £55,000 depending on experience. You will be involved in exciting projects.
