Overview
Lecturer in Optometry and Visual Sciences – redeployments only. This appointment is with City St George's, University of London, School of Health and Medical Sciences. The role involves contributing to curriculum and educational development through the integration of scholarship and professional activities with support for learning.
Location: Myddelton Street Building. Contract: Permanent. Hours: Full-time. Salary: £51,753. Closing date: 7 September 2025 at 11:59pm.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Contribute to curriculum development and educational initiatives in optometry and related fields.
* Collaborate with clinical practice links and other academic colleagues to deliver integrated learning experiences.
* Engage in scholarly activity, professional practice integration, and support for student learning.
Qualifications
* Extensive clinical experience in the field of optometry/visual sciences.
* Experience of teaching within this field at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
