The Role
We are now looking for a Regional Finance Director for UK. In this role, you will combine Business Control responsibilities with a strong business partner mandate for the region. You will be the primary finance partner to the VP Operations UK while also working very closely with the Group CFO and the VP of Group Business Control.
This role is part of the Finance as well as the UK Management Team and will be central in driving profitability through analysis and execution, supporting strategic decisions, and preparing the region for future growth and potential exit scenarios for the TNC group.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and execute EBITDA margin improvement through analysis, negotiations, cost optimisation, and efficiency initiatives in close collaboration with the Group VP of Business Control and the VP Operations UK.
Lead business control activities in the region, including cost control, forecasting and budgeting.
Ensure robust finance operations, accurate financial reporting, and strong internal controls. This includes oversight of AP, AR, general ledger, statutory accounts, treasury, and the external audit relationship.
Ensure post-deal performance of newly acquired businesses within the region.
Act as a statutory director of the UK legal entities, accountable for the financial health and regulatory compliance of the UK business.
Your Profile
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 7+ years of post-qualification experience
Proven experience leading finance teams with accountability for both commercial finance and finance operations.
Experience in fast-growing, international environments, ideally within FMCG or PE-backed companies.
Track record of EBITDA margin improvement in prior roles.
Self-driven, results-focused, and action-oriented.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work at both executive and operational levels.
Fluent in English. Additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
