Our client, a long-established and highly respected manufacturer, is seeking a Sales Ledger & Finance Assistant to join their team at their head office in Biggleswade. You’ll be part of a collaborative finance team of four, where every day offers variety and opportunities to grow. As well as managing the sales ledger, you'll play a key role in reviewing employee expenses and credit cards, posting job costing hours, and providing support across other finance functions when needed. Key Responsibilities: Raise and process sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner Ensure invoices are posted to the correct project codes in Sage 200 Liaise with project managers to confirm billing completeness Apply correct VAT treatment, including CIS reverse VAT Set up and maintain customer accounts Chase outstanding payments and prepare applications for payment when applicable Allocate cash receipts and maintain debtor analysis for month-end Process and post employee expenses and company credit card transactions Handle petty cash and expense claims from the overseas office Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ exp...
