Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Location: Trentham Lakes, Staffordshire Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 DOEAbout the Role We are supporting a well-established automotive workshop in their search for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy, professional service centre. This position offers the chance to work with a wide variety of vehicles, delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, and diagnostics within a supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities Vehicle servicing & repairs — routine maintenance and mechanical repair work across passenger and light commercial vehiclesDiagnostics — identify and resolve faults using appropriate diagnostic toolsMOT testing (if qualified)Warranty repairs — complete work in line with manufacturer standardsVehicle Health Checks and accurate completion of all supporting documentationCollaborate with workshop colleagues to meet productivity and quality targetsMaintain high standards of workmanship and customer serviceWorking Hours Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00Overtime available on an ad-hoc basisSaturday mornings on a rota (as required)Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician / MechanicLevel 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & RepairFull UK Driving LicenceStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsConfident communicator and effective team playerReliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality workSalary & Benefits Competitive salary £30,000 – £45,000 DOEPerformance-related bonus schemeCompany pensionOngoing training and upskilling opportunitiesClear career progression routesEmployee recognition and wellbeing supportAdditional Information Applicants must have the right to work in the UKThis is an on-site role based in Trentham LakesReferences may be requested during the hiring process#INDEITPBN1_UKTJ
