As the you Field Sales Consultant you will directly manage all Cross Business Unit business within defined accounts to achieve the agreed orders, sales and profitability targets. The holder of the role will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key partners in existing customers and new qualified accounts in order to optimally position each product, solution line and value offering. The role is part of a focused UK and Ireland team with occasional working in an international team in Europe and possibly other international regions. We look forward to seeing your application!
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
1. Align with the Business Unit Strategy and key corporate strategies for the achievement of Sales, Bookings and Gross Profit targets for the full Cross business unit portfolio.
2. Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s business, needs and language and actively promote suitable products and solutions.
3. Understand in full Emerson’s unique selling propositions and actively contextualize them to the customer industry and application needs to improve business.
4. Proactively document and share success cases, customer feedback and quantifiable business results in the assigned account portfolio, with the support of Product Managers and Industry Leaders
5. Constantly expand a network of contacts across the accounts, identifying the relevant partners for positioning the different value messages across all product lines.
6. Supervise and understand the driven environment at each account and work to displace competition and defend Emerson’s position.
7. Provide contractual leadership and/or support, both at local, European or global level.
8. Discuss and agree with sales management monthly and annual actions plans and maintain account plans with short, medium and long-term sales strategies.

For This Role, You Will Need:
9. STEM degree or comparable technical education
10. Demonstrated experience selling technologies to customers in the relevant industry.

11. Business insight and understanding of commercial contracts.
12. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
13. Willingness to travel (50%of time).
14. Driving license.
