Job Description: Project Engineer Electrical at Equans Data Centers
Equans Data Centers is seeking a Project Engineer Electrical to support our expanding Data Centre business. The successful candidate will manage construction aspects of large projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
* Ensure work conforms to quality, environmental, and safety standards
* Coordinate and control on-site construction processes to align with project plans
* Liaise with statutory and local authorities for project approvals
* Attend site meetings, communicate progress, and prepare reports
* Chair and document subcontractor meetings when necessary
* Assist in managing materials and record-keeping (diaries, drawings, safety assessments, as-built drawings, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements

Candidate Requirements
* Experience with main contractors or large subcontractors
* Technical knowledge of electrical services
* Problem-solving skills and a desire for continuous learning
* Self-motivated with organizational skills and deadline orientation
* Effective communication skills with clients
* Focus on health and safety; commercial awareness
* Experience in data centers (desirable)
* Degree or equivalent in Electrical discipline (desirable)
