Empowering Learning are currently recruiting Resistant material Teacher to work with pupils with learning difficulties in Hillingdon. They are seeking experienced Teacher with experience of working in mainstream or SEND schools in the UK, with a background of supporting pupils with Complex Needs, Autism or learning difficulties.
The successful candidate will be supporting pupils in class. The ideal person will be able to Operate computer systems and assist with materials and resources to support the lesson of different learning levels.
Job Responsibilities
* Able to work with groups or support within the classroom
* Supporting pupils with Complex Needs, Autism & Learning Difficulties
* Supervising and assisting with Resistant material Technician including woodwork.
* Supervising pupils' behaviour
* Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development
Job Requirements
* Adaptable and willing to work with different SEND Secondary aged pupils
* Willing to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities
* Have QTS or QTLS
* Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS
* Have a qualification or experience with Resistant materials or wood technology
* Available 5 days a week
* Able to commit to a long term to permanent role.
