Overview
As a Marketing Animator, you will be part of a creative team dedicated to bringing our universe to life across trailers, promotional materials and digital campaigns. You will craft visually striking animations that capture the scale, excitement and artistry of our games, from cinematic storytelling moments to gameplay-driven showcases. Working closely with the marketing, video and art teams, you will help define the visual identity of our brand and engage audiences across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Marketing, Cinematic and Art teams to produce high-quality animations for trailers, promotional videos and other creative assets.
* Partner with the wider marketing organisation, including Creative, Editorial, Marketing Art and Social teams, to bring cohesive storytelling and visual excellence across all campaigns and channels.
* Collaborate with the Gameplay Capture team, to whom the role reports, to align animation work with captured footage, ensuring a seamless blend of gameplay and cinematic moments in marketing content.
* Use both keyframe and motion capture data to bring performances to life with cinematic polish.
* Contribute to ideation, storyboarding and previsualisation for marketing campaigns.
* Maintain consistency with the visual style, tone and quality of our in-game and marketing content.
* Work in a collaborative but distributed team environment, communicating frequently with colleagues across our UK, EU and US studios.
* Proven experience in animation for marketing, cinematics or trailers, ideally in games, film or related media.
* Strong understanding of timing, motion and storytelling through animation.
* Proficiency with Maya, MotionBuilder or equivalent animation tools.
* Ability to balance creative direction with production needs, delivering work that is both beautiful and efficient.
* A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills across creative and technical disciplines.
* Eagerness to push boundaries, refine visual fidelity and deliver world-class promotional content.
