As a Senior Manager you will lead cost reduction programmes harnessing the advanced capabilities of Coupa Sourcing Optimisation (CSO) to drive significant value for our clients. You will manage the operational delivery of our sourcing optimisation engagements and oversee delivery teams, ensuring that our services are organised and delivered in a standardised and consistent manner in line with our unique methodology. You will also play a leadership role across the full lifecycle of tech-enabled Source-to-Pay transformations, managing PwC teams and owning senior client relationships.
This role can be based in London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Belfast.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing Optimisation
* Lead the delivery of sourcing optimisation engagements using CSO – executing complex sourcing events across multiple categories and industries.
* Design, build and execute complex award scenarios incorporating business rules, cost drivers, capacity constraints and sustainability goals.
* Translate stakeholder requirements into tailored sourcing strategies considering CSO's advanced capabilities and functionality.
* Generate actionable insights from scenario analysis to support supplier selection and negotiation decisions.
* Design, build and deliver e-auctions in CSO.
Digital Procurement Transformation
* Collaborate with clients to design and implement S2P processes and solutions.
* Provide expertise across the full S2P process and how it integrates.
* Bring knowledge of S2P transformation roadmaps and help clients to develop theirs.
* Deliver tech-enabled source‑to‑pay (S2P) transformations from design through to execution.
Client Engagement & Leadership
* Act as the lead advisor to clients, building strong relationships and positioning PwC as the partner of choice.
* Facilitate client workshops, run training sessions and system demos – advising on best practices across the S2P lifecycle.
* Manage project delivery risk and timelines for CSO and S2P engagements.
* Mentor and develop junior consultants and Coupa analysts in sourcing optimisation methodologies and delivery excellence.
Digital Enablement
* Stay ahead of the curve on Coupa product innovation.
* Advise clients on how CSO integrates with broader Coupa modules (CLM, Spend Analysis, Supplier Risk, etc.) to deliver end‑to‑end digitisation.
* Support clients in defining their digital roadmap and embedding continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience
* Strong experience in strategic sourcing, e‑sourcing, procurement transformation and procurement technology implementation.
* Worked on at least two tech‑enabled S2P transformations across all phases.
* Proven experience using CSO or other advanced sourcing optimisation platforms (e.g., Trade Extensions, Keelvar, Jaggaer, ASO).
* Proven experience delivering e‑auctions.
* Deep understanding of S2P processes, sourcing strategy, supplier evaluation and negotiation frameworks.
* Excellent client‑facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Interest in digital procurement trends with an analytical mindset; advanced understanding of data analytics is essential.
* Demonstrates digital curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies independently.
* Process‑oriented approach combined with strong attention to detail.
* Problem solver who can bridge business needs with technical capabilities effectively.
* Highly analytical – Excel, maths, data.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels.
* Strong stakeholder management abilities and proactive work ethic.
* Track record of delivering sourcing value across direct and indirect spend categories.
* Experience working across a variety of industries and sectors – highly desirable.
* Coupa certification preferred but not essential.
* Willingness to travel to meet client and project needs – up to 60%.
