A leading engineering organisation is seeking a skilled CNC machinist (Mill Turn) to join their precision manufacturing team. This role is key to producing high‑quality components used across a range of industries.

About the CNC machinist Role
You will be responsible for setting, operating, and proving out Mill Turn machines to produce components to exact drawing specifications. The role requires a logical, methodical approach and a strong understanding of machining processes to support production efficiency and meet targets.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Select correct tooling and holding devices
Set machines to setup sheets and provide feedback on amendments
Prove out both proven and unproven programs
Manufacture components to drawing tolerances
Carry out your own 1st‑off inspectionsWhat You’ll Bring
Experience setting and running Mill Turn machines
Strong machining knowledge and ability to work to a high standard
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good communication skills and willingness to suggest improvements
