Role Overview:
* Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and follow Safe Systems of Work.
* Support mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance activities as required.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and report to the Engineering Manager.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of equipment reliability and production efficiency.
About you:
We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual with a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, ready to take the next step in their career.
We welcome candidates with manufacturing experience who are eager for a new challenge and have worked in both planned and reactive maintenance roles.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to root cause analysis and problem-solving, possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, and be a true team player eager to learn, share knowledge, and support the wider team.
