Chef Manager
Here at PertempsNetwork Catering, we are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to work alongside our clients in the Birmingham area.
Hours:7 am-2.30 pm
Days: Monday- Friday
Enhanced DBS needed
This position will require working in a variety of elementary and secondary schools, as well as care homes. You will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 800 students, which will benefit their overall well-being and academic achievement.
Chef Manager Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook lunch for the students.
* Oversee food production and cooking
* Take control of the ordering
* Maintain a clean and organisedkitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
* Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.
* Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimisewaste.
* Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.
* Assist in maintaining inventory records and budget control.
* Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
Chef Manager Qualifications:
* GNVQ LEVEL 2/3
