Audit Senior | Huddersfield | £50,000
Are you a skilled Audit professional eager to take the next step in your career? Well established, forward-thinking firm based near Huddersfield are looking to add a Senior Audit Manager to their growing team in a newly created opportunity as a result of continued growth.
This is an excellent chance to lead audits from start to finish, work closely with a diverse client base, and play a key role in mentoring team members. You’ll be involved in building strong client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring audits run smoothly and efficiently.
You will enjoy:
* Leading audit engagements, managing the process through to completion
* Developing and maintaining positive client relationships, spotting potential new business opportunities
* Supporting and mentoring junior staff members to help them grow professionally
* Preparing effective audit plans and ensuring timely delivery
* Providing advice on PAYE, Corporation Tax, and VAT where applicable
* Keeping up to date with the latest UK GAAP and auditing standards
You will need:
* ACA or ACCA qualification with 3-5 years post-qual audit experience
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
* Solid technical expertise paired with a practical problem-solving approach
* Experience with PCAS audit software is a plus but not essential
* A positive, commercially aware, and thrives in a collaborative team environment
