Job Description:
Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a range of conventional and specialty fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D is based at the Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We pride ourselves on delivering superior technical advice and quality products to our customers.
We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland Region. The role involves developing long-term customer relationships, connecting with industry stakeholders, and implementing strategic sales plans.
Reporting to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager, responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing regional sales strategies to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
2. Presenting and promoting our product range to meet regional needs and opportunities.
3. Optimizing distribution channels and operational costs.
4. Managing relationships with trade customers, including product support, customer service, credit control, and debt management.
5. Overseeing sales administration policies within the region.
6. Supporting and managing the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to achieve sales goals and excellent customer service.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Contributing to overall company development through active participation in management and operational teams.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience as a sales manager or representative, with a record of exceeding targets.
* Technical knowledge of the agricultural sector.
* Strong commercial skills and experience in developing trade and farmer relationships.
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and people management skills.
* Effective communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.
* Positive problem-solving attitude and team interaction skills.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Full clean driver’s license.
Offer:
