Mechanical Technician
Salary: £50,482.29
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Contract: Contract role 6 Months FTC, involves working days, nights and weekends
Location: Chester
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to help with the maintenance, repairs and rectification of onboard rail systems, including software uploads.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical repairs, rectification and maintenance
Replace mechanical components as and when required
Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and correct accordingly
Complete mechanical repairs and rectification
Upload and update on board software systems
Work in part of a well knitted team
Requirements
Mechanical background with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
Experience with IT systems, able to upload/download software updates.
Knowledge of fault finding and testing equipment; both mechanical and electrical.
Strong mechanical skillset and an understanding of electrical appreciation
