Design and Technology Teacher - Feb 2026
Job Details:
We're looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to complete a two-week cover assignment starting 2nd February 2026. This is a great short-term opportunity at a forward-thinking secondary school known for strong leadership, supportive staff culture and excellent behaviour.
Pay: £150 to £220 per day, dependent on experience.
Contract: Temporary
The Role
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you'll deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3/KS4, maintain a positive classroom environment, and ensure continuity of learning while the school manages short-term staffing needs. The school provides clear schemes of work and a well-equipped DT department, making this an ideal role for an experienced Design and Technology Teacher or a confident ECT.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong classroom management and recent DT teaching experience.
Ability to hit the ground running in a busy secondary setting.
A valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
