An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Out of Hours Urgent Care Service, providing a wide range of patient needs in their own homes. The 5-hour twilight shifts are ideal for part-time workers or those seeking to earn extra income. We work from 6pm to 11pm, on a four-week repeating rota, allowing you to plan ahead. Contracts are available for 10, 15, or 20 hours per week; there is no full-time work as shifts are short. Community experience is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm, adaptability, and attitude are key. We offer training to support your development as a clinician.
Please note: Due to recent changes in UK immigration and visa rules, this role may not be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants without the right to work in the UK may not be considered. Those requiring sponsorship should review eligibility criteria on the gov.uk website before applying.
Working alongside experienced HCAs, you will travel across the County providing urgent nursing care and support in patients' homes, including those with urinary catheters, end-of-life care, diabetes management, or other urgent needs. You will always be supported by a team: every shift is led by an experienced Band 6 coordinator, Clinical Nurse Lead, or senior staff nurse.
