Fired Equipment Discipline Lead
We are supporting a large-scale refinery and petrochemical development at pre-FEED stage, involving significant upgrades and new processing units.
We are looking for a Fired Equipment Discipline Lead to act as the client-side technical authority across all combustion systems. This is a Contract Role for a Major Energy & Petrochemical Project
The Role
You will provide technical oversight and assurance for the design and optimisation of fired equipment, working closely with EPC contractors and licensors.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership across fired heaters, furnaces, boilers, flares
• Review and challenge contractor designs for efficiency, safety, and emissions
• Support development of engineering standards and specifications
• Contribute to HAZOP / safety reviews and design decisions
• Drive optimisation of performance, reliability, and cost
What We’re Looking For
• 15+ years’ experience in fired equipment / combustion engineering
• Background in refining, petrochemical, or chemical processing
• Experience across FEED/EPC projects
• Strong understanding of combustion systems, emissions, and safety
• Exposure to large international projects (Middle East advantageous)
