The Role
You'll play a key part in maintaining, improving and developing control systems across a busy manufacturing site. This isn't a "keep the lights on" position, you'll be encouraged to challenge the status quo and bring forward innovative ideas that improve performance, reliability and efficiency.
You don't need to be a programmer from scratch, but you
must be confident working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
, including:
* PLC interrogation and diagnostics
* Fault finding and system troubleshooting
* Software modifications and rewriting programmes
* Supporting upgrades and improvements
You'll be empowered to take ownership, drive improvements and see your ideas implemented.
