About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Barry on an initial 3-month fixed‑term contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. Key Responsibilities
* Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
* Matching, batching, and coding invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Preparing and processing payment runs
* Handling supplier queries and building strong relationships
* Assisting with month-end processes
* Maintaining accurate records and supporting audit requirements
About You
* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Confident communicator with a professional approach
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
