As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you’ll play a key part in leading a dedicated team that provides high-quality, person-centred care to older people. You’ll bring calm, compassion and professionalism to every shift, ensuring that care is delivered with dignity and respect.
What Your Day Could Involve
 * Leading and supporting your care team, including rota planning and task allocation
 * Providing management cover and ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
 * Overseeing care planning, medication management and quality assurance
 * Supervising and appraising staff, and supporting their training and development
 * Promoting the wellbeing of service users in a kind and person-centred way
About You
You’re a confident and compassionate leader who supports others with empathy and integrity. You bring clarity, calm and commitment to your role. You have a Christian faith and are comfortable working within and upholding CrossReach’s ethos. You’ll hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, and be willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award. You’ll also need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.

Requirements
As we do our work in Christ’s name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
