HGV2 Skip Driver – Biggleswade
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV2 Chain Skip Driver in Biggleswade to support a well-established waste management company with an excellent reputation and low staff turnover. This temporary role will last several weeks to cover the absence of a full-time driver, with the potential for ongoing work based on performance.
Location: Biggleswade
Salary: £17.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Full-time hours (day shifts)
Job Type: Temporary (minimum a few weeks)

Key Responsibilities
1. Operate HGV2 chain skip wagons safely and efficiently.
2. Deliver and collect skips from client sites across the local area.
3. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
4. Follow site rules, health & safety requirements, and company procedures.
5. Provide a professional and reliable service to customers.
Essential Skills & Experience
6. Valid UK Category C (HGV2) licence.
7. CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
8. Previous experience with chain skip wagons is essential.
9. Good understanding of skip operations and site safety.
10. Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.
