The Sussex CAMHS Acute services have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join their expanding crisis and home treatment service. This is an excellent opportunity to design and develop an innovative new care model for Young People (12-18 years old), focusing on safe, effective, and caring community treatment as an alternative to admission or supported discharge from an inpatient bed.
This is a new post following the commissioning of the service by the Kent and Sussex Provider Collaborative, aimed at providing an alternative to inpatient CAMHS ward admission. The Trust seeks a Consultant Psychiatrist to work with the multidisciplinary team in the new crisis & intensive home treatment service, offering clinical leadership alongside senior MDT colleagues.

This position includes a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, plus up to £8,000 relocation allowance. The payment is disbursed as follows:
* £5,000 upon appointment
* £5,000 at 12 months of employment
* £6,500 at 30 months of employment
* £8,500 at 48 months of employment
