The Role:
Based in Sydenham/ Catford, as a Mental Health Support Worker, this full-time role may include a combination of day, evening and occasional weekends and sleep-in shifts.
The role entails:
1. Working within a high or medium support service, housing vulnerable adults with enduring mental health and challenging behaviours
2. Empowering residents and supporting them on their journey to independent living, whilst making their lives fulfilling and meaningful
About You:
3. Undergraduate degree or vocational qualification in psychology/health/social care or related degree/qualification
4. some experience qorking within mental health services
5. You have a good knowledge of mental healthrelated illnesses
6. You have great administration and organizational skills, able to work under pressure to deadlines and prioritise a varied workload
7. You have strong computer skills and digital dexterity, with experience in Customer Relationship Management systems and databases
8. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate appropriately with people at all levels and capacities
9. You are self-motivated and able to use own initiative to find solutions
10. You have a warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude, with a genuine desire to want to make a difference
