Job Description
3. Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
4. Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
6. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
7. Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
8. Monitor and improve financial controls and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
9. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
10. Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
11. Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience within Accounting & Finance.
12. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis within the retail industry.
13. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
14. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
15. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
16. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
17. Experience working in a structured and fast-paced environment.
