Azure Engineer / Architect
6 month contract
London - Hybrid
£500 - £650 DOE - Outside IR35
We have multiple opportunities available for Azure Engineers / Architects to join a UK based consultancy who are delivering large digital transformation initiatives across multi-cloud environments. This is a 6 month engagement with potential for further extension.
Azure API Platform Engineer
Senior platform engineer to lead a multi-cloud API ecosystem, designing secure, scalable microservices and modernising legacy integrations. Also responsible for standardising architecture, improving observability, and driving best practices across teams.
Must have:
* Strong experience with API gateway technologies
* Deep understanding of Kubernetes in Azure environments
* Integration between cloud native and legacy systems
Azure Cloud Platform & SRE Engineer / Architect
Senior engineer to evolve Azure cloud foundations, ensuring secure, resilient, observable, and compliant platforms aligned with SRE principles and operational excellence. Responsible for defining architecture patterns, improving reliability, and guiding teams across cloud disciplines.
Must have:
* Strong SRE and reliability engineering experience
* Deep expertise in Azure and Kubernetes
* Experience designing secure, high-availability cloud architectures
* Skilled in cloud threat modelling and platform fundamentals
Azure Developer / Engineer
Senior engineer to lead developer experience platforms, modernising CI/CD pipelines, strengthening SCM practices, and delivering scalable GitHub-based automation for efficient, secure and reliable software delivery. Responsible for defining standards, improving code-review quality, and uplifting engineering practices across teams.
Must have:
* Deep CI/CD engineering experience with GitHub or similar platforms
* Strong SCM expertise with branching, governance, and secure workflows
* Experience building scalable developer experience systems and workflow automation
Azure Databricks & Analytics Engineer
Senior engineer to build Azure Databricks and Analytics environments, ensuring data platforms are secure and compliant. Responsible for designing secure workspaces, implementing governance controls, enforcing networking and access patterns, improving platform resilience and operational standards.
Must have:
* Expertise with Azure Databricks and Azure data analytics platforms
* Strong experience in secure workspace design, network isolation, and access governance
* Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and observability best practices
