Location: Coventry, Ansty Park
Working Hours: 07:00am - 16:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.30/hour
Reports to: Shop Floor Supervisor
About the Role:
Our client are looking for a hands-on and experienced Team Leader to support their production operations at the Ansty site. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in factory production who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading by example.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of production operatives to meet daily output and quality targets.
Ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation on the shop floor.
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support development.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with company policies.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure production continuity.
Conduct daily briefings, manage shift handovers, and report on team KPIs.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
Be flexible and willing to carry out hands-on production tasks as required to support the team and meet operational needs.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a production factory environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of health & safety and quality control standards.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work.
