Logistics Operations Team Leader
Location: Glasgow, Edinburgh or Leven
Contract: 12‑month fixed‑term contract

About the Role
As a Logistics Operations Team Leader, you will lead and support our Market Service teams, dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service on behalf of Global Brand Supply. This role focuses on empowering, coaching, and developing team members to provide seamless, cost‑effective, efficient and compliant service to our markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Management – Lead, coach and support a team of Market Service Owners, ensuring seamless service from order entry through to delivery and exceeding customer expectations.
* Carrier Liaison – Act as a key contact for shipping lines, ensuring smooth communication on capacity, shipping instructions, documentation needs, and timely resolution of any issues.
* KPI Monitoring – Track and record reasons for order failures to inform KPI measures, drive continuous improvement, and own corrective actions for any misses.
* Digital Implementation – Champion adoption of digital tools within daily operations, supporting and guiding teams to embed new ways of working.
* Productivity – Identify productivity and cost‑saving opportunities within logistics, delivering against stretching targets to ensure business value.
About You

What We’re Looking For
* A collaborative leader who values team success above individual contribution, with prior people‑leadership experience (direct team leader experience preferred).
* Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both customers and internal stakeholders.
* Organised, adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities while meeting key business deadlines.
* Experience in logistics, export or customer service is a plus, but we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds eager to learn.
