Rullion are looking to recruit for the following role: Commercial Project Manager Newcastle Upon Tyne Fully remote - however option to go to office 1 day per week 37 hours per week ASAP Start 12 months (Maternity Cover) £37-40 per hour Outside IR35 We are currently looking for Senior Commercial Project Manager in our CLIENTS Onshore Service Great Britain team. The Commercial Manager will work as a business partner to operations management, for multiple projects within a geographical hub (typically ranging from 15-30 sites/windfarms), along with working closely with many other supporting functions/key stakeholders within the business. The Commercial Manager (together with the operations partner) have complete P&L and balance sheet responsibility for the projects/hub and the role includes but is not limited to the following key responsibilities/tasks: Key responsibilities/tasks Full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for projects/hub Cost management/forecasting for projects/hub on a monthly basis, with a focus on accuracy and delivery on budget Management of risk and opportunities related to projects/hub Reporting of risk registers and non-conformance costs Monitoring/analysing KPIs for projects/hub including but not limited to; availability, LTP/Corrective hours, service hours, project spend, project gross margins/costs, billings, accounts receivable/overdues management. Build and maintain strong relationships with operations partner and wider business support functions/stakeholders, including regular face to face meetings Presentations to management on a monthly/regular basis on project/hub performance Handle day to day commercial issues/topics with site/operations with a focus on driving profitability and customer satisfaction Involved in the tender/sale phase of projects including supporting in the drafting of the contract and T&Cs Drive strong relationships with customers, support other functions and attending regular customer meetings Escalations and dispute management/support on commercial/contractual topics with customers Ensure a robust standard business modelling processes and reporting requirements (controls) including risk registers, ETCs (forecast models) and business reporting documents. Drive process and project improvements to maximise profit/efficiency What you need to make a difference A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for Qualified accountant holding a qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA- Essential You will have proven experience in a project related role, ideally within the Energy sector You will be able to demonstrate experience of Project Controlling, Risk Management, Currency Management and knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS) You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be able to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively and in a timely manner You will be able to adapt with the changing needs of the business and project and be a versatile individual who can deliver on multiple conflicting priorities in a high paced environment This role requires someone who is IT competent and proficient with the use of SAP and Microsoft suite (including Power BI) If available please apply and a member of our team will be in touch Rullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants.
