Key Responsibilities ✅ Process and manage complex client payrolls accurately and efficiently across multiple frequencies ✅ Act as a main point of contact for client payroll queries, ensuring a high level of service ✅ Support and mentor junior payroll colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise ✅ Liaise with HMRC, pension providers, auditors, and other external stakeholders ✅ Perform reconciliations, year-end processing, and ensure compliance with payroll legislation ✅ Assist Payroll Operations Managers with workload planning and process improvement initiatives ✅ Identify opportunities to streamline payroll operations and introduce automation Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience in payroll administration – ideally within a bureau or accountancy firm Excellent communication and client relationship skills Strong technical knowledge of UK payroll legislation High accuracy, attention to detail, and confidence working to strict deadlines Experience supporting or mentoring team members (desirable) Proficiency in MS Office and payroll software Interested?
