Job Description:

You will support the Administration team in delivering technical administration cases and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme. Your responsibilities include:
1. Completing calculations and managing correspondence for members within SLA.
2. Handling calculations and correspondence for high earners, ensuring legislative controls for protection are met.
3. Performing QA checks on colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective.
4. Updating and reconciling worklists to ensure compliance.
5. Reviewing transfer cases to ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Responding to email correspondence and managing team inboxes.
7. Assisting auditors during annual audits.
8. Completing and reviewing complex member calculations, maintaining SLA adherence.
9. Reviewing complaint and historic pension transfer cases.
10. Authorising daily payments.
11. Supporting processes to maintain compliance and minimize escalations and complaints.
12. Providing support and testing for cyclic and key projects.
13. Supporting team members in PMI exams and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience within DB Pension Scheme administration.
* In-house or third-party administration experience of technical benefit calculations.
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK Pensions legislation.
* Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Teamwork ethic and willingness to assist others.
* Highly motivated, eager to learn, and numerate with strong analytical skills.
* Knowledge of UK Pension Schemes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
