P6 PlannerClient: BAE SystemsLocation: Barrow-in-FurnessHourly Rate: £47 PAYE or £63.40 UmbrellaContract: 6 months (likely extension)Working Arrangements: 2-3 days per week on site We are currently recruiting for an experienced P6 Planner to support a major defence programme with BAE Systems in Barrow-in-Furness.Key Responsibilities
* Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
* Monitor progress against programme milestones and report on performance
* Work closely with project teams to identify risks, delays, and recovery plans
* Provide regular planning updates and reports to key stakeholders
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Planner using Primavera P6
* Experience working on large-scale engineering, infrastructure, defence, or nuclear programmes
* Strong understanding of schedule development, critical path analysis, and earned value management
* Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and technical teams
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Experience working within defence, shipbuilding, aerospace, or complex manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of risk management and schedule assurance
* Previous experience working with BAE Systems or other major defence contractors would be an advantage
