Gran Lab Ltd. is a Northern Ireland-based dermatological science company dedicated to developing innovative, steroid-free solutions for managing chronic skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. Backed by a diverse team of biochemists, formulation scientists, and pharmaceutical experts, we are committed to creating effective, inclusive products suitable for every skin tone. The company also established The Clearing®, the first support network in Northern Ireland for people living with chronic skin diseases, fostering community and empowerment. Driven by compassion and a mission to improve lives, Gran Lab Ltd. is preparing to launch SkinSettle™, a breakthrough product aimed at offering lasting relief to those affected.


The Role

Thisisn’tjust a scheduling job. This role is about bringing the heart ofGranlab® to life across every platform.

We’rea four-person startupoperatingout of central Belfast and a lab at Queen’s University Belfast, pioneering steroid-free-by-design treatments for chronic skin conditions that affectnearly abillion people worldwide. OurSkinSettle™ range launches in autumn 2026.We’redoing research nobody else is doing;we’vebuilt Northern Ireland’s first community for people living with skin disease; and the momentum is building fast.

What Success Looks Like

* Growing and engagingGranlab’ssocial community across key platforms, with a particular focus on the chronic skin disease community.
* Delivering strong, consistent organic social support for product launches, clinical milestones, and key brand moments.
* Creating high-performing, on-brand content that balances scientific credibility with warmth and accessibility.
* Continuously evolving content formats, cadence, and platform strategy through testing and insights.
* Translating behind-the-scenes work into compelling stories that build trust and excitement
* Building awareness and membership of The Clearing®, our community and support network for people with chronic skin diseases.


Key Responsibilities

* Be the eyes and ears behind the scenes atGranlab® capturing our story as it unfolds while building the content engine that gets us launch-ready and the community hyped before we go live.
* Build and own a content calendar that maps our pre-launch momentum, rooted in our brand pillars of science, sensitivity, community, and empowerment, so we hit launch day with purpose and intent.
* Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity that is warm, expert, and unmistakably Granlab ®.
* Keep social content locked in with the bigger picture by fuellingThe Clearing® growth and building anticipation forSkinSettle™ as we build the momentum that sets Granlab ® up for launch day.
* Bring fresh ideas, new formats, and positive energy to the table.


Content Creation & Coordination

* Brief and manage internal and external creators to deliver engaging, high-quality content.
* Create, edit, and publish posts, stories, and reels across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
* Repurpose content strategically tomaximisereach and consistency across channels.
* Plan and support content days with the founders and research team, capturing the real, purposeful essence of the brand.
* Travel to events, photoshoots, and content days across Northern Ireland, Ireland, and the UK asrequired.


Social Media Management

* Own the day-to-day management of all organic social channels.
* Be the friendly, knowledgeable voice ofGranlab, engaging with our community across comments and messages with care and sensitivity.
* Monitor trends and platform performance to continuallyoptimisecontent and approach.


Campaign Execution

* Support the rollout of influencer, paid, and brand campaigns, ensuring organic social execution aligns with campaign objectives.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure messaging is cohesive,timely, and impactful.


Insights & Optimisation

* Analyse performance and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Use data to refine content strategy, posting cadence, and platform focus.
* Share learnings and creative recommendations to continually evolve our social presence.


WhatYou’llBring

* 3+ years’ experience in social media, content, or marketing (experience within health, skincare, wellness, or science-led brands is a strong plus).
* Proven ability to independently film, edit and produce high-quality video and photographic content
* Strong understanding of socialplatforms:Meta Platforms (Instagram and Facebook), TikTok, LinkedIn.
* Track what’s landing (shares, saves, and watch time) and emerging trends to sharpen the content week on week leading up to product launch.
* Excellent copywriting skills with a natural ability to communicate complex topics with warmth and clarity.
* Confidence using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva,CapCut, or similar.
* A creative eye, strong attention to detail, and anorganised, proactive mindset.
* Strong grasp of brand alignment and graphic design.
* Build and manage a content calendar to keep production flowing.
* Ability to balance creativity with structure, deadlines, and commercial priorities.
* A genuine interest in science, skincare, and community-driven storytelling.
* Confidence on camera, happy to create behind-the-scenes or on-screen content.
* Full driving licence and valid passport (travel is part of therole)*.

*This job role requires you to haveafull right to work in the UK, as this job does not offer visasponsorship.

* Experience working with influencers or creators.
* Understanding of paid social and boosting strategies.
* Familiarity with clinicalor cosmeticregulated product communications.


Qualifications

* Experience in brand management and the ability to develop, implement, and evaluate brand strategies.
* Expertise in Market Analysis, Marketing, and Campaign Management.
* Strong skills in communication, relationship building, and team collaboration.
* Knowledge of Digital Marketing, Content Development, and Social Media Campaigns.
* Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret performance metrics to enhance brand growth.
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.


Location & Working Style

This is a full-time role. The ideal candidate will be working in our R&D facility at Queen’s University Belfast and our central Belfast office space. For the right person, we offer flexibility with the expectation that you are available to be on-site regularly for content days, collaboration, and key brand moments.
