We are seeking a CAD Technician to support the design and technical delivery of splash pad and water feature projects using AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities
CAD Design and Technical Delivery
· Produce accurate and detailed AutoCAD drawings for splash pad products and full project installations.
· Prepare technical drawings, layouts and specifications for components and systems.
· Assist in the creation of traffic management and installation plans.
· Maintain organised and up to date drawing records throughout the project lifecycle.
· Support design coordination across disciplines and team members.
· Contribute to the development of internal CAD processes and drawing standards.
Collaboration and Communication
· Work closely with senior CAD staff, project managers and installation teams to meet project requirements.
· Communicate drawing progress and technical issues clearly within the team.
· Participate in site visits where required to improve drawing accuracy and installation understanding.
· Work remotely across multiple live projects while meeting deadlines.
Skills and Experience
· Proficiency in AutoCAD with demonstrable technical drawing experience. (Required)
· Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings. (Required)
· Strong skills in Drawing and Space Planning. (Required)
· Effective written and verbal Communication skills. (Required)
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. (Required)
· Ability to work remotely and manage tight deadlines. (Required)
· Interest in splash pads, water features or similar environments. (Required)
· Basic understanding of layouts, specifications and technical documentation.
· Team focused mindset with willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
· Knowledge of Revit is desirable but not essential.
· Basic understanding of construction processes.
