We are looking for a Head of Operations to ensure Clients benefit from a consistently exceptional and reliable infrastructure experience across a national data centre estate. You’ll champion standards, optimise processes, strengthen compliance, and help shape a culture of excellence and sustainability.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead the development and delivery of standard operating procedures across our data centres
* Drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in operational performance
* Ensure full compliance and provide clear reporting for internal & external audits
* Train and support operational teams, ensuring procedures are understood and adopted
* Maintain & publish a live library of operational procedures and improvement updates
* Own data centre operational risks — embedding enhancements into processes
* Keep ahead of industry best practice and evolving compliance standards
About you
You bring a blend of leadership, process excellence, and operational discipline, with the ability to influence across teams and ensure high-quality, repeatable delivery.
Essential:
Proven leadership in operational standards & continuous improvements
Experience in data centre operations or critical infrastructure environments
Qualifications in engineering, IT, Ops or process improvement
Strong understanding of compliance & regulatory frameworks
Excellent communication, documentation & stakeholder influence skills
High attention to detail, structured & methodical mindset
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience writing and embedding operational procedures
Knowledge of ISO standards, including ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO50001
