Are you an experienced educator or support specialist with a passion for working with learners who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? TP Tutors is seeking dedicated SEND tutors to provide personalised academic support to students across the Sunderland area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential through 1:1 and small group tuition.
The Role:
Deliver tailored tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science) for learners with SEND
Adapt your teaching approach to suit individual needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and more
Build trust and create a safe, engaging learning environment
Offer tuition either in-person or online based on your availability and student needs
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children and young people with SEND (in education, care or support settings)
Strong subject knowledge in your chosen subject area(s)
A calm, compassionate and flexible approach to teaching
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
