Duties of this Workshop Controller position:
6. Managing and overseeing workshop operations to optimise efficiency and productivity
7. Supervising and supporting workshop staff to deliver excellent customer service and technical standards
8. Liaising with customers and keeping them informed on vehicle repairs and service updates
9. Planning and scheduling vehicle repairs and job allocations for the workshop team
10. Ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to within the workshop environment
11. Maintaining accurate workshop records and ensuring service targets are met
Requirements for this Workshop Controller role include:
12. Proven experience in a management position within a busy automotive workshop, ideally as a Workshop Controller or Service Advisor looking to step into a supervisory position.
13. Strong organisational skills and the ability to motivate a team
14. Excellent knowledge of automotive repair procedures and processes
15. Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and staff
16. Commitment to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and technical excellence
