Location: Kent (easily commutable from Sittingbourne, Medway Towns, Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury and surrounding areas)

About The Role
We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our busy workshop team, working primarily in-house with occasional site/field work. You will be involved in the repair, overhaul, maintenance and servicing of marine and industrial driveline equipment, including transmissions, torque converters, axles and associated products. This is a great opportunity to broaden your mechanical experience within specialist driveline applications, backed by strong brands and an international group.
Key Responsibilities
* Strip, examine, diagnose, and repair customer equipment in the workshop as directed by the Workshop Manager/Foreman.
* Carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing at customer premises or other sites when required.
* Work on a wide range of marine and off-highway driveline systems and components.
* Adhere to all company working practices, safety standards and reporting procedures.
* Complete all required job documentation and any other tasks as assigned.
Competencies & Experience
* Recognised qualification or proven industry experience in mechanical engineering.
* Comprehensive engineering knowledge and strong awareness of safety requirements.
* Sound knowledge of general engineering equipment service and repair; driveline experience is an advantage.
* Competent in using measuring equipment.
* Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems beneficial.
* Full driving licence.
* Ability to use computer programmes for works management and report writing.

Salary/Hours
* Salary range of £35‑40k DOE
* Annual profit‑related bonus.
* Overtime expected.
* Mon‑Thu 8.15‑5 with 30 min lunch and 2 × 15 min breaks.
* Fri 8.30‑4 with 30 min lunch and 2 × 15 min breaks.
