Position: Accounting Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $75–$83/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on accounting problems.
* Produce original problem sets grounded in financial statements, reconciliation schedules, and ledger entries.
* Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
* Provide clear technical writing to articulate reasoning step-by-step.
* Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
Must-Have
* PhD in Accounting, CPA with 3+ years audit, tax, or advisory experience, or BA/BS in Accounting with 5+ years applied accounting, audit, or controllership experience.
* Working fluency in at least two of: financial accounting, managerial accounting, audit, tax, assurance.
* Comfortable reading and interpreting financial statements, reconciliation schedules, and ledger entries.
* Clear technical writing skills.
