We’re looking for an enthusiastic Agriculture Audit Manager to lead, support and motivate a UK‑wide team of self‑employed Assessors whilst also delivering on-farm audits yourself. Our team audits and certifies large numbers of agricultural customers across multiple scheme standards, with excellent customer service at the heart of everything we do. To thrive in this role, you will bring hands‑on agricultural experience across at least two different agricultural categories, people management experience, and the confidence to coach, develop and manage a high‑performing team of assessors. You don’t need prior auditing experience to apply, we’ll provide full training and scheme‑specific exams to set you up for success! Providing support and guidance to assessors as their first point of contact, ensuring consistent and clear communication Conduct witness audits during onboarding and routine witness programme Facilitate shadow audits, during onboarding and regular performance monitoring, ensuring top-tier standards. Carry out accurate and compliant assessments against client-specific scheme standards across mixed agricultural enterprises Deliver precise, comprehensive assessment reports within customer agreed timelines, meeting scheme and procedural requirements. Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and developments, ensuring your team is always in the know. Be prepared for occasional short-notice audits as needed across the UK, showcasing your flexibility and expertise. Tackle special project work and other audit tasks, driving continuous improvement in Audit Delivery. Achieve a utilization target of fee earning work each month Qualifications Strong on-farm practical experience across at least two different agricultural categories Recent people-management experience is essential Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and patiently with both farmers and colleagues, ensuring clarity and understanding A highly enthusiastic and energetic individual, driven by a keen eye for detail and a strong passion for improving industry standards Proven ability to manage conflict and navigate challenging situations with professionalism and calm Strong time management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines efficiently Competent in general IT skills, with the ability to adapt to various software tools Travel is required to sites that are accessible by car, so a full UK driving license is required Previous auditing or training experience is a plus, though not a requirement, as training will be provided Our Culture: At NSF, our mission is to improve human and planet health.
