We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at our Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and supporting their academic and personal development.
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, provide individual and small-group support, and help maintain a positive learning environment. Your role will be essential in helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted support.
- Help prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised learning environment.
- Encourage and promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Assist with the assessment and recording of pupil progress.
- Support pupils with additional needs, adapting approaches where necessary.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children, preferably in a KS2 setting.
- Is patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Is a strong communicator and a great team player.
- Shows initiative and a proactive attitude to supporting learning.
- Has relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) – desirable but not essential.
