Description Business Support Statutory Meeting Administrator Fort Social Work Centre Salary: £26,337 - £28,835 (pro-rata for part-time) Hours: up to 36 per week, 52 weeks x1 Permanent, 32 hours per week x1 Fixed term 18 months, full time x1 fixed term 1 year, full time x1 Fixed term 9 months, full time This is a challenging role within business support, producing minutes for complex statutory meetings including Child Protection Planning Meetings, Looked After and Accommodated Children's Reviews and Adult Support and Protection Case Conferences, supporting Social Work teams and other agencies across the city to support and protect vulnerable individuals. The post requires great attention to detail, and the post holder will personally observe strict confidentiality while distributing invitations, professional reports, and minutes using email and Royal Mail Print & Post. Also crucial is resilience to exposure to potentially distressing information. This posts are based at The Fort, 25 North Fort Street and can involve travel to meetings around the city. Meetings are held in person around the city, or held virtually on Microsoft Teams. The post offers a mix of office and home working. Evidence of continuing professional development. (Desirable) EXPERIENCE: Providing business support /administration services to internal and / or external customers. Organisation and planning of workload and working with minimal supervision. Working in a large, complex organisation, preferably public sector. (Desirable) KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues. Good interpersonal and communication skills – ability to communicate with a range of internal and external contacts. IT skills at intermediate level. Customer service skills. Ability to operate in a changing and challenging environment to manage competing priorities Ability to accurately record information from multiple attendees in statutory meetings to a standard that can be used for legal processes e.g. court proceedings.
